Bands
Hamradun
We are very proud to present our very own Hamradun
Hamradun play an infectuous hard rock with roots deep in old Faroese music (heroic ballads) and literature, as well as inspiration taken from other Nordic countries. The music builds on Faroese legends and stories of the past, together with centuries-old ballads performed in their own native language, spoken by only 52.000 people. It is important for Hamradun to tell the stories of the past, and interpret the old ballads called “kvads” with modern musical instruments to give them a new sort of life.

Frænde
With the ancient instruments drum, mora harp, harp flute, Viking lyre, lute, swivel lyre, flute, bagpipe and beautiful Old Norse singing from Nordic folk songs, edda poems and magic formulas, the listener is taken back in time with gloomy tales of broken-hearted love, wars and battles, and magical songs.
Nanna Barslev, Lasse Olufson and Rune Brandt Larsen, who are known from the folk metal band Huldre, Ættir, Asynje and Gny, have since the 90s followed the path of the past as communicators of history and historical music.
Be led back in time with ancient tunes and dancing in the glow of the fire.
Jürghinn
Jürghinn is a rock trio from the Faroe Islands that started before the year of the Lord 2010. The group plays a complex mix of rock stylesinspired from the Southern States and punk.
